So,2006 is over and I say good riddance. Last year kind of sucked the big one. I am actually happy to see 2007 come in. Every year means a new clean slate and I really need one. I am not really sure what the hell is about to happen but I guess I can't be scared. I think that the past five years have been set up to the something really happening. All the crappy jobs, the heartache, the inner turmoil. It might just be for something. At least I hope so.
So happy new year everybody!

Still not good enough! Destined to be a loser!
October 23rd, 2006
I had a nice week. Helped Russell celebrate his big birthday. Had my first cosmopolitian and lemon drop. Went to very nice bar and ended night with Louie's (which is the most perfect way to end!) Apparently go hit on by some guy at Spanish Moon and totally missed it. Baked a turkey (well, not me but it was done in my apartment by my roommate).
I have a lot of working this week because one of my Hallmark store co-workers have jury duty. Yes, jury duty. Not to bad because I desperately need the hours. Might go to New Orleans this weekend, which means eating ramen so I can afford to go. Or convince people I am very poor and need their assistance for drinks because it is the only thing that makes me forget about my very poor state.

Well, today is my birthday. I actually kind of forgot until I was in the shower this morning. It is just another day that includes getting up early and going to work. And working some hours and then going home for dinner.
I also got a new cell phone number. I can not remember it now so email if you want it desperately. I have also acquired a new facebook so add me if you wish.
Now to contemplate the question.

So much to do and so little time.
I have been working alot lately. I am clearing around thirty-five to forty hours a week now. I am of course still horrible with money but I hope this will make the situation better. Anyway, I am going to LSU on Wednesday to see if I can still enroll there after all these years. I really hope so. I am itching to go back to school. I know what I want to do for sure. I just need to get the ball rolling on it.
The only thing that sucks is that it leaves me in Baton Rouge for a few more years. I hope I can go to grad school outside of the state. I really feel like I need to move somewhere more suited for me.
Will stop rambling now!

I had a very weird dream last night.
It involved me having sex with the lead singer of Nickelback in this Best Western hotel.
A few things disturb me about this dream. They are:
1)I don't find the lead singer of Nickelback attractive. At all. In no way shape or form. I can think of five rock stars I would rather have sex with in five seconds!
2)A Best Western? It looks just like the hotel room we stayed in while in Texas. I also end up going downstairs to eat a cinnamon roll from the free breakfast.
3)He was a massive douche bag. He started talking on his cell phone during.
4)He had a weird shaped penis. It was thin and almost looked like it has a waist and the end looked like a fountain pen.
That is all. So I am now traumatized for life.
Also, I started my second job at the Hallmark store. It does not seem that bad.

Today I got a Myspace message from someone asking me to join a group called "Goddless in the Red Stick." I read the information about the group and then I joined and here is why. It talked about being a "freethinker". I started wondering if I could be a Christian freethinker. I am Christian and I believe in God. But I wonder if all the stuff in the Bible is true or just stories that were told because they have a good message. Also, it is hard for me to believe that just because someone is not Christian they are going to hell. They are many good people in the world, and it is hard to think they are all going because of that one thing. I can not see the Dalai Lama on television and believe that. So, why I am not "godless", I think about my religion on my terms and how I feel. I guess that makes me a freethinker.

I think I might get a new journal name. Any suggestions?

I am currently in Baytown, TX. It is a nice little place thirty minutes outside of Houston. My nephews and I went to the mall and we enjoyed it. They had two arcades, a movies theater and a big carousel upstairs. In our room, at the Best Western, we have six spanish channels. I can not stop watching them. We also have a pool, which also helps the time pass until we go sight seeing tomorrow. Anyway, I am having a decent time so far.

I got accepted into the AmeriCorp program. I will start in August and it will end in June. It is full-time volunteering doing mentoring work in schools. We also do physical projects like cleaning parks. I get paid a small fee each week and it is enough to take care of my bills and stuff. Also, when I am done a get a few thousand dollars toward school, which is great of course.
I am very excited about this. It is going to be something different to do for a while. I still have to meet with the recruiters to get the rest of the information.
I am still going to try to work at the library on weekends because I eventually want to become a librarian, which is an extra two years of schooling.
It is going to be crazy, but I am up for the challenge.

I have a five day, somewhat paid vacation! Kip Holden is to thank for this. He is closing the libraries on July 3 unless they have something special going on. Well, our library does not so I get to stay home that day. Then add in July 4 and my usually Wednesday off and I am one lucky girl. I don't know what I am going to do for five days. The possibilities are endless!
Also, "Wonderfalls" should have never, ever been cancelled. I think if a show inspired you to stay up until 5:30 in the morning to watch it, it is worth keeping on for a while.

I had a good time last night. I went out with some friends, got trashed and danced all night.
I had good clean, all-American fun!

I don't know if anyone has ever been there but I like it. The strange conversations you can overhear.

Also, had a crappy day. I was late for work orientation so I have to resceldule my whole training. At least I get my twenty hours at the library this week so rent is paid.

Bears Eat Monkey in Front of Zoo Visitors Mon May 15
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - Bears killed and ate a monkey in a Dutch zoo in front of horrified visitors, witnesses and the zoo said Monday. In the incident Sunday at the Beekse Bergen Safari Park, several Sloth bears chased the Barbary macaque into an electric fence, where it was stunned.
It recovered and fled onto a wooden structure, where one bear pursued and mauled it to death.
The park confirmed the killing in a statement, saying: "In an area where Sloth bears, great apes and Barbary macaques have coexisted peacefully for a long time, the harmony was temporarily disturbed during opening hours on Sunday."
"Of course the habitats here in the safari park are arranged in such a way that one animal almost never kills another, but they are and remain wild animals," it said.
Witness Marco Berelds posted a detailed report on the incident, including photos, on a Dutch Web site. He said one Sloth bear tried unsuccessfully to shake the monkey loose after it took refuge on the structure, built of crossing horizontal and vertical poles.
Ignoring attempts by keepers to distract it, the bear climbed onto a horizontal pole, and, standing stretched on two legs, "used its sharp canines to pull the macaque, which was shrieking and resisting, from its perch."
The bear then brought the animal to a concrete den, where three bears ate it.
The zoo said it "usually wasn't possible" for keepers to intervene when an animal killed another.
The park plans now to move the Barbary macaques — which are large monkeys but often inaccurately called "Barbary Apes" — to another part of the park, it said.

There is no way that my IQ is lower than Asa's! I demand a recount!
Congratulations, Kielly!
Your IQ score is 127
This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others.
Your Intellectual Type is Word Warrior. This means you have exceptional verbal skills. You can easily make sense of complex issues and take an unusually creative approach to solving problems. Your strengths also make you a visionary. Even without trying you're able to come up with lots of new and creative ideas.
He got a 133 but I think it was luck.

I keep forgetting why I actually hate astrology. It is always contradicting itself. I guess I will just have to guess what might be in store for me.
